The Purple Campaign is urging the judiciary to establish better anti-harassment laws

Amicus Brief filed in the Supreme Court of the State of New York in Tirschwell v. TCW

In March 2021, The Purple Campaign filed an Amicus Brief in support of Appellant Sara Tirschwell, arguing that the judiciary needs to recognize the various ways that gender bias manifests in the workplace and the particular environments in which sexual harassment remains pervasive.

Supreme Court of New York Rules in our Favor in Tirschwell v. TCW

In May 2021, the Supreme Court of New York accepted our Amicus Brief in Tirschwell v. TCW and agreed that issues of fact exist about whether Sara was subjected to sexual harassment, gender-based discrimination, and retaliation at work.

Advocating for Stronger Anti-Harassment Policies in the Federal Judiciary

The Purple Campaign supports ongoing efforts to advocate for stronger judicial protections to ensure that people who work in or interact with the federal judiciary are protected from harassment. Workplace harassment affects every industry, and the judicial branch is no exception.
